Horse racing Back/Lay Dutching

I have enjoyed using your software for the last month and have happily allowed my subscription to continue for a second month. I have a couple of minor points though...

Prior to getting your software, I used to enjoy Lay Dutching on the Place Markets for horse racing. I can not do this easily using your software as it does not allow 'lay dutching' on place markets because the book percent margin will not allow it (as there are normally 3 or 4 winners).

The other (very minor) point is that on my copy of the software, the image of the jockey’s colours does not display... only a red x where the image can't be displayed. I am using Bfexplorer for Bettors 1.4.1.29565. Even if these issues can't be resolved.... no problem.... I think your software is great and now lose at a much slower rate :-)

Regards Dave

Dave, I think you misunderstood the term “dutching”. If you would spend some time on the Internet you could find following information about dutching:

Dutch Schultz aka Arthur Flegenheimer allegedly originated the dutching bet strategy. Alternatively, there is a train of thought that dutching originates from the term going dutch, where people share the price of a meal or a round of drinks.

"Dutching" in betting terms, is when a punter places more than one selection in a race, or any fixed odds betting medium, to glean the same amount of profit from any winner.

It means that dutching bet, either back or lay at betfair, is calculated for at least two selections on which you decided to place a dutching bet, so that it gives you a profit even if you have got one losing bet in your lay dutching bet, but of course the rest of bets have to be winning and book value of your lay dutching bet have to be more than 100%, otherwise you lose.

When placing back dutching bet the book value have to be less than 100% and you have to back winning selection, otherwise you lose.

Dutching bet can be calculated on markets with one winning selection only!

What you want to apply on to be placed horse racing markets is not dutching, so you cannot use Bet Wizard - Back/Lay Dutching to calculate stakes on your bets.

I have released the new version of Bfexplorer which disables dutching for markets with more than one winner.

The problem with jockey’s colours: What antivir or firewall software are you using? You have to fully allow Bfexplorer application to access the Internet resources.
