Why I decided to offer bfexplorer for free.
To explain why I decided to make this offer I can say you this short story from last weeks. Last month I worked on one bespoke solution which required changes in the interface used by some bot scripts as well. Later in a couple weeks I received email from one user that he just installed the latest version of Bfexplorer PRO and suddenly his bot does not work.
I asked him what bespoke solution I made for him because I do not remember all users for whom I made bespoke solutions during those years I am on betfair. He replied that I did not make any bespoke solution but he uses Trade Opportunity Lookup tool (TOL) and some bot script he download from my web site which he slightly changed.
To popularize some features of Bfexplorer PRO and that is mainly bot script development and automated betting or trading I created the Bot programming section on the bfexplorer forum. Well you can find there my articles mostly, but it happens that others make some contribution as well, by their ideas or report how they use such bot and what could be a problem when running such strategies. Some of users at least thank for my work and time, but he did not.
I updated Bfexplorer PRO so his bot could run again without problems and I encouraged him for more activity in the bfexplorer forum. Well, he did so submitting a request for another LookUpBot which cost me almost 8 hours of my work, to program and debug his bot (1.5 hours), and the rest of the time to test the bot and write some article.
Well I do not really expect that someone will post into the forum his/her profitable strategies. I would not do that myself of course, but most of strategies is discussed generally and many bot scripts could be just inspiration for building your own bots. Skilled software developers do not require such support on the forum, but there is a lot of enthusiast programmers (DIY) who programs just for fun, and want to build betfair bot yourself.
When I looked Google statistics I found out that visitors from Russia are on the fourth place in my statistic, but just couple users subscribe for any bfexplorer product from Russia. Therefore I decided to offer for free all bfexplorer products for Russian users.
I hope that users from former USSR could create a community on this bfexplorer forum and help me support my products on the forum because it costs me a lot of time doing it myself. Bfexplorer users from the rest of the world could take advantage from this offer:
