I tried all the software on the market and I think yours is one of the best. Although I see some details that you can improve. For example:
You have a very messy site is too overloaded and you end up losing you.
You do not have an operating manual, which makes you lose a lot of time looking for the performance of each tool, which you do not get normally.
You should make more videos of the tools, strategies, criteria bot ...
Your purchase and subscription plan is quite rigid. No reward customer loyalty. In fact, even Peter Webb finished understand and change their subscription plans.
I hope you understand these words as a friendly advice. Some suggestions I have collected from Spanish forums.
You have to understand that when the situation is not very buoyant any overspending is a great sacrifice and especially when you're not a winning bettor. I guess all these things and you must have thought, but you are very busy and cannot find the time nor the need for it.
If you want to talk about these issues I am at your disposal. Stefan friend, I hope that everything will go well.

Eduardo you are absolutely right the web site is not good for selling any product, the home page presents too much information and not just key features of a product advertisements in short sentences to make an interest to download and trial bfexplorer products before buying.
I am a software developer and like to learn new stuff and made my site from scratch learning something about asp.net and mvc.
I am a betfair punter or trader as many of you coming to this web site, and my main approach is to be a profitable betfair user. If I find some spare time I will rebuild the web site structure and change the web site design to be more trendy product web page.
Bfexplorer Production Manual
I have no pdf manuals one could download and read on one's computer. On the other hand each bfexplorer product has its own product page with base operation manual to product features. I do not want to use pdf documents for manuals, because web pages has advantage of quick update and facility to comment each product web page. When you start any bfexplorer product on the start page there is displayed the product manual (in the form of web page), as it is when you click on the menu item Help / Contents.
Subscription Fees
Actually it was not my intention to sell any software. At the beginning of bfexplorer project I used betfair free api only, but later as the project progressed and I went published with this project (it was offered for free) more requests for new features appeared and it was clear to me that it cannot be done with free api.
I had to subscribe to betfair full transactional api which costs me 200 GBP per month.
When deciding what subscription fee should I ask from users of bfexplorer products to pay for the full transactional betfair api, I just hoped that I would manage to get at least 10 subscribers, and I did so after 3 month.
Bfexplorer for Free
You know my costs (200 GBP * 12 = 2400 GBP per year) without adding anything for support, cost of running this web site and cost of development work I have to pay myself for third party products which helps me to support further development of Bfexplorer PRO.
It is clear that I cannot offer for free something I pay for.

Free Betfair Trading Software
Hi Stefan:
I think that one paragraph of my reflection is not well expressed, remember I am Spanish and I do not know English well.
My intention is not to tell you what to do, although I will be happy to give you my opinion, but pick up some Spanish forums opinions about your software.
I think that giving away the software does not get anything. Bf Explorer should be priced to compensate for your effort and dedication. But this does not make a plan for customer loyalty. For example:
One month subscription: 30 euros, three months: 75 euros; six months: 120 euros; one year: 220 euros. Two years: 400 euros ...
Sorry Stefan, my wife calls me for dinner, I'm on vacation.

If any of mentioned subscription plans is not suitable for you, feel free to contact us and if your offer will be fair, you will get your betfair api access to any bfexplorer product under your conditions.

I really do not agree with you, Eduardo.

I am French and like you I am not fluent in english but I really like the blog of Stefan because in the first page you find answers to very simple questions. I like the first page of the blog which answer very simple questions a beginner could ask like "Place a bet when I am at work"

There is an operating manual, but instead to write a book Stefan choose to write about a specific need and i think it is better ("Set up a bot" for example) I don't want to have to read a manual of 200 pages just to find ONE specific point.

Stefan make screen shot and writing explanation and I think it is better especially for people not fluent in English.

The only point i do agree with you, Stefan should make special offer like 1 month offer for a 4 month subscription.

I am thinking to run my own blog in French for French speaking people! Don't worry I will not ask Bf Explorer for free because Betfair is actually illegal in France (I am French but i don't live in France) but a lot of people speak French outside of France.

Six products for the price of one.....
Hi Stefan y Hamid:
Stefan, do not think it necessary to make a personalized system of subscriptions, as you suggest, ironically, would be enough to get a little more flexible, as suggested by Hamid.
But my argument is to help novices and / or low ability with English, to learn more about your software getting better performance with a price plan motivating.
I did not get to make money with Bf Explorer, maybe I was wrong and I tried to start at the end, I wanted to set strategies with the Bot Executor almost never paid off. Perhaps if it had had a subscription for one year I had taken things more slowly and had started at the beginning.
Stefan, you think you are offering six products for the price of one, but normally only use the Pro and finally seems to offer a product for the price of six.
Hamid, I appreciate your ideas and I inputs support at Price.
I agree that the tutorials are very enlightening, help to better understand the tools, but I had the bad luck that I was not the strategies that worked so painstakingly explained Stefan.
Friends, I think the important thing is to get tools and strategies that give you an advantage in a competitive world and professionalized, and that's what Stefan has done a very good job, I hope to reach the height of your software and benefit finally of your knowledge.

You are right the people with low ability in English needs help. I think I have medium ability in English and very often I have to read 5 times a sentence to really understand the meaning. Stefan is not a native English and it is a good thing, he use "academic" English and never slang language.
I really agree with you when you say that Stefan offers "six products for the price of one, but normally only use the Pro and finally seems to offer a product for the price of six".:-) because when you use Bf explorer Pro you don't need neither "Bfexplorer for Bettors" nor "Bfexplorer for Horse Racing" and I am sure that subscribers never use "Bfexplorer for Solutions".
When you say :"I did not get to make money with Bf Explorer" , do you mean that the bot didn't work well or your strategy was wrong because I never met such problem when my strategy is good I make and when it is bad I lost money.

Bfexplorer products
Bfexplorer actually offers two subscription plans 5 and 30 Euro monthly fee. If all you need for betfair trading, (or better to say if you are more bettor at betfair but you want to occasionally trade your bets out, close position or green up), is using one click software with ladders then your choice is Bfexplorer for Bettors.
Bfexplorer for Bettors offers just limited features for automated trading, but on the other hand offers bet and bot wizards (8 such tools for placing bets, trading or dutching), so you can execute your trade automatically on selected market selections.
Bfexplorer for Bettors is able to monitor concurrently up to 5 markets, and I think, it is very easy to operate with features like Watched Selections where you can see your current bet (profit or loss) situation on placed bets, so when necessary you can close your position by one click using one of the two tools for it.
I have more subscribers to Bettors version than to Bfexplorer PRO. From my experiences. I offer help with personal remote desktop session when I connect to user's computer or show how to operate bfexplorer from my computer, using the Adobe Connect Now tool.
So I could see during those sessions that users of Bfexplorer for Bettors operates with bigger balance on their accounts, than for instance users of Bfexplorer for Horse Racing. It is clear that it has nothing to do with profitability but most with the way how they operate on betfair markets.
PRO subscribers could use any bfexplorer product, but as Hamid said, most of them use just Bfexplorer PRO. On the other hand if it is necessary, you have got option to use what most suits your needs.
Hamid, you do not operate on horse racing markets, but many do, so some of users could run its betting or trading strategy with Bfexplorer PRO, and use Bfexplorer for Horse Racing for manual trading at the same time.
There is also a community of Bfexplorer PRO users who are software developers or are just familiar with C# or Visual Basic programming language and they use Bfexplorer BOT SDK. Hamid, you asked me to build your bots, so you actually using what BOT SDK offers.
Bfexplorer for Bespoke Solutions, are custom built betting or trading solutions. In some cases users prefer standalone application to Bfexplorer PRO plug-in. In such cases I build the application exactly according to their specification, with user interface to set parameters and start button to run the strategy, so a simplistic user interface just for what they want to do. As a bonus I always put in such bespoke solution My Results module you can find as well in the PRO applications.
Bespoke solutions are built as Bfexplorer PRO plug-ins too, and with the latest version of Bfexplorer PRO you can use 3 such plug-ins I deliver for free. Very useful tool could be the plug-in called: Close All Positions, no other betfair api application on market offers such functionality.
It was so from the start of the bfexplorer project that I mostly acquired new PRO subscribers from people to whom I built a bespoke solution. They were simply looking for a product on betfair market which could help him execute their strategy, and as they did not find anything suitable they started to use Bfexplorer PRO and a bespoke solution I built for them. Well the profitability depends on executed strategy so I had some subscribers just for couple months, but I have got a lot of subscribers who still use a bespoke solution I built for them in 2007-2008.

Hamid, Spain online gambling are permitted, but the benefits should be charged as capital gains, paying between 30 and 45% to the Treasury. The pity is that losses are not deductible.
Hamid, do you have a strategy that works long term and is confesable?

Hi Eduardo,
I don't have any special strategy just Dutching and sometime surebets on the french football markets. In fact I try to make small profits with large number of bet. It is why I came to BfExplorer because i dodn't want to spend all my time in front of the computer.
What do you mean by "losses are not deductible"? Does it means that if you win 50 euros on Barca vs Real and you lost 45 euros on Malaga vs Majorque you have to pay 50 X 40% = 20 euros! that means you lost 15 euros (50-45-20)

Hi Hamid:
It is a way of speaking ironically. I mean you have to pay taxes in Spain for winning money at gambling, but if you lose money is not deducted. For example if you earn 30,000 euros a year to the Treasury have to pay about 9000 euros, but if you lose 30 000 euros, nobody paid 9000 euros to compensate for the loss. I think I'm rolling.
Hamid, thank you very much for exposing your strategies, I also think that the dutching in soccer is quite safe. Tennis is another sport safe, as there is continuous movement of the odds.
