Football Strategy Bet On Favorite
Posted in From My Inbox by StefanBelo
Hi, I would like to know bfexplorer is able to place a price range bet on in play football matches. For example if team A starts the game at a price of 2.20, then after scoring their odds drop to 1.50, could i place a back bet, prior to the event starting at 1.50, that would only be placed when the market drops to this price.
I currently subscribe to a different bot, but it has serious difficulty in achieving my requirements, it seems to always search for the best price, making it very difficult to wait for the game to reach a stage where my odds are matched at the price i want (if i submit the bet, it starts looking for a better price than 1.50).
Yes, you can execute such betting strategy using the Bfexplorer PRO tools:
Trade opportunity lookup (TOL) or Execute my strategy on selection (ESS)
The TOL can be used when you want to load all football markets automatically, and ESS tool when you select your markets manually.
In both cases you need to setup your bot criteria using the tool: Bot Executor. You want to place a bet only not to start a trading session therefore as an action bot you have to use the bot: Place bet and set following parameters:
StoopMarketMonitoring, AllowPlacingBetInPlay, BetType, MaxOdds, MinOdds, PlaceBetOnRunner, Stake, Evaluate other criteria only once
On Market Criteria page set the parameter: Sort selections by Last price matched. On Selection Criteria page add two selection criteria applying settings on 1 runner (the favorite) BestOdds >= 1.9 and BestOdds <= 2.2, if you want to place your bet only on the favorite traded at the match start in the odds range from 1.9 to 2.2.
You can download this file, extract .bcd file and import the above setting to your Bot Executor.
I would suggest to use ESS so you can select your football matches manually because I do not think any favorite traded before match start in such odds range will win. Or you can test it first in the practice mode only. You can try trading alternative as well.
