I Need A Watch List And Bot Developed

I need an application to allow me to drag horses and other selections into a watch list screen that aggregates selections, updates betfair prices regularly and allows backing of selections.

Does anyone use anything similar? -there is a watchlist without betting on firefox extras and sportinglot used to do a good one which is now ****** only. I also need a bot to automate bets on selections based on set rules.

Thanks for any help

Bfexplorer PRO is able to monitor more markets concurrently, so it is not only a betfair trading platform but a platform for bot operators as well.

If you really want to monitor a lot of markets you have to be aware of betfair data charges. Betfair allows you to make (per one betfair account) 20 free requests per second, therefore you have to wisely set the refresh rate for your bfexplorer. There is a betfair api counter in the status bar, showing you the current number of requests per second. What you have to keep in mind is that after placing bets on markets the bfexplorer monitors all unmatched bets every two seconds per market. If you placed your bets on 20 markets and all bets are unmatched, the bfexplorer makes 20 / 2 = 10 request per second, just to monitor your unmatched bets on these markets.

On the picture above you can see that I opened for market price monitoring 29 markets and I placed my bets on 37 selections, some of bets were matched but most of them were unmatched. My betfair api counter showed from 12 to 16 request per second, and my response time was from 125 ms to 450 ms.

The response time depends on your internet connection latency to betfair servers and is lower if you are closer to betfair servers. I am from Slovakia so my internet connection latency would not allow me to exceed 20 free request per second, but if you are from UK (or close two betfair Malta servers, if you are international betfair user) your response time could be 30 ms or lower, then 1000 / 30 = 33 requests per second can be made.

So that is a dilemma and I would suggest to pause market monitoring for markets you placed bets on if you monitor more markets and your unmatched bets are not managed by bots. To check the bets status you can use the tool: All My Bets (Tools/My Solutions/All My Bets). Bfexplorer PRO offers two tools which are very helpful when monitoring a lot of markets, the watched selections and market watch list window:

And you can see why is it so from the pictures above. Anytime you place a bet on a selection the selection is added to the Watched Selections window, or you can add a selection yourself. You can see that I placed my bets on 13 selections and bets were fully matched.

The watched selection chart shows price movements and my current profit/loss, happily all my bets were placed at the right time and all shows a profit position.

To add a selection to the market watch list use the selection context menu. The market watch list shows market grid view of selected selections and like full market grid view it shows selection back/lay prices and you can place bets or close your position clicking on the profit button.

You can close your position using the watched selections window as well.

What can you see on the picture above?

13 selections I opened my position on. On 12 selections my current position is in profit, on one selection I am on a loss. On 3 selections I already closed my position, traded it out with total profit 102.17. On the market selection Bev 22nd Apr (16:30 1m2f Hcap) Sparkling Smile I opened the Bet Wizard: Close position for selection and I can hedge my opening bet for 23.49 profit.

If I would trade my position out on all my bets I would have been ended up with the total profit: 177.13
