Bets Lost

Hello,

I use bfexplorer for bettors. If I restart the program ... is it normal that my bets are off?

Why is this so?

thanks

Bfexplorer for Bettors has got the limitation to monitor only 5 markets concurrently. If a market is monitored and you placed bets on this market the bet status is monitored as well. If you want to load markets on which you placed bets using betfair web page or other betfair api software, in the application setting switch on the parameter: At startup load my current bets.

Some people place bets on hundreds markets and as loading current bets means market monitoring by the default this settings is switched off.

Bfexplorer PRO has no limitations for amount of markets you can monitor concurrently, but it is clear that monitoring hundreds of markets could lead to exceeding the number of free api requests per second, so with Bfexplorer PRO you can use a tool: All My Bets which monitors the status of your bets without monitoring markets prices so you can see on which selections you have got matched and unmatched bets, and if necessary you can open any market for monitoring with Bfexplorer PRO and manage your current position on this market.

When you change application settings this application settings is saved, if your computer shuts down after you restart bfexplorer the last saved application settings is loaded.

When you close the bfexplorer its current status is saved, all opened monitored markets are saved, and so after you restart bfexplorer later, the previous monitored markets are loaded if they are still active.

As the monitored market status is saved during application shutdown, if your computer had shutdown due to some failure, the markets are opened from the last market status file if such file exists.

If you set in the application setting the parameter: At startup load my current bets. Anytime you open bfexplorer all your markets on which you had placed bets are opened automatically, but as the Bfexplorer for Bettors can monitor simultaneously only 5 markets, maximal 5 markets are opened. The Bfexplorer PRO has no such limitations.

Do you understand a concept of the practice mode in the bfexplorer application?

Your bets are not placed at betfair, it is just a simulation, but the bfexplorer acts like your bets were really placed at betfair, so in the practice mode you have got a chance to test any strategy or just to learn how to use the bfexporer without a fear to risk your own money.

Bets placed at practice mode are not saved when you close the bfexplorer, so after restarting the bfexplorer again no bets are loaded.
